No spectacular imagery here, but the March 2013 issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords came out today with my photo on the cover. That’s two covers out of three to begin the year for the magazine.

I’ve always been a fan of Vaughn Gittin Jr’s Ford Mustang RTR, especially in Race Red. I got the chance to photograph one earlier this month and the images just went up on Autoblog.com. You can see the full set of photos here.

Cover feature for January 2013 issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords
The January 2013 issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords came out today, and for the third time this year I’m on the cover of the magazine. The car was specially built as a tribute to Mustang builder Joe Gosinski who was tragically murdered at his shop in Southern California a few years ago, so it was nice to see it on the cover. It’s also one of the coolest Mustangs I’ve photographed with painted Porsche Yellow graphics, lots of carbon fiber parts and a Vortech supercharger system under the hood.

Featured in 2005-2013 Mustang Performance
In addition to having the cover of the 2005-2013 Mustang Performance magazine put out by 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords I also had this feature inside the magazine. The Mustang convertible is built by Neil Tjin, a name that is becoming common with many of my photoshoots. It appears that as quickly as he builds cars I photograph them for magazines. Cover feature for 2005-2013 Mustang Performance
5.0 Mustang & Super Fords magazine occasionally comes out with special issues that appear on newsstands only, and for this latest one, featuring the 2005-2013 Ford Mustang, they asked me to provide the cover image using two cars. In general photographing two vehicles is much more difficult than one, but because all I needed was a shot for the cover I had plenty of time to set up the cars for the perfect composition. You can see the magazine on newsstands now.

It’s been a couple months since I had photos in a magazine, so it was nice to see the April 2012 issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords released today. Inside are my photos of a heavily customized Shelby GT500 built by Galpin Auto Sports, and I think the article turned out nicely. You can see the entire article below.

Cover feature for November 2011 issue of Modified Mustangs & Fords
When Vaughn Gittin Jr. unveiled his RTR-X Mustang at SEMA last year I was hoping to be able to photograph it. Some may not like the car’s look, but technically it’s one of the most impressive classic Mustangs I’ve ever seen and it’s got some really cool details. Plus, Vaughn actually intends to drive the heck out of the thing.
Fortunately I got the chance to photograph the RTR-X earlier this year, and Modified Mustangs & Fords used the photos for the cover of their November 2011 issue.
