Cover feature for April 2014 issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords
It’s been a while since I’ve had a cover for 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords, but that’s been rectified in the April 2014 issue. Featured is a 2014 Ford Mustang built by Vortech Superchargers for the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. I was actually able to photograph the car a few days before it headed out to SEMA, a rarity since so many of the builds aren’t done until the very last second. The custom yellow paint on the car, nicknamed Yellow Jacket, definitely helped the car stand out and helped get the cover – along with a car-to-car shot done on Hwy 1 in Southern California.

After spending a few hours with this 2014 Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, I have to say that it may be the most photogenic modern car I’ve ever photographed. It’s stunning both inside and out. You can see the full set of photos (I’m particularly proud of the interior shots).

Hennessey Corvette Toll Road Run photos released
Last week I headed out to Houston Texas for yet another very cool project for Hennessey Performance Engineering. A new toll road was opening up near their shop, and the wonderful state of Texas was letting the company let loose on the fresh tarmac with a modified Corvette Stingray. The result is the world’s first Corvette Stingray to top 200 mph. The photos have been published on a multitude of web sites:

This past week I headed up to Willow Springs Raceway to photograph the new 2014 SRT Viper TA, and the conditions for the photoshoot couldn’t have more perfect. A Southern California sunset and a bright orange car to match. Much thanks go out to the SRT team who didn’t mind staying at the track until dark to accommodate me.

I find myself heading up to Willow Springs Raceway more and more, this latest time being for a track day put on by Mercedes-Benz AMG. While the brand’s entire lineup was essentially there, the main focus was the SLS AMG Black Series, which turned out to be an incredibly photogenic car. Following the twelve page feature on the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S in their December 2013 magazine, EVO have just released their Car of the Year 2013 issue that has my photos of the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante, so is great for all those people wanting to change their car by using disposal services like Scrap My Car Montreal to take the old car and then buy a new model.
