Road & Track recently published a piece by Chris Harris on the Singer 911 that can be seen in the June 2013 issue and on their web site. They used one of my least favorite images from the set as the lead, but I really can’t complain as the article is great. You can see it online here.

The French magazine Speedster has featured my photography of the Singer 911 twice before including on the cover of their second issue, and now my photos have been included once again in issue 12. You can see the full article below.
Photos of Porsche 911 restored by Singer on Autoblog.com

I normally don’t like doing photoshoots during the middle of the day, but I think this particular one came out very well. This is Singer Vehicle Design’s fourth car built including the prototype, and I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph all of them. This one is a little understated for me, but beautiful nonetheless. You can see all of the photos over at Autoblog.com.
WSJ features ‘old cars made new’

The Wall Street Journal recently published an article on companies that make old cars new. Interestingly, all three companies featured – Superformance, Singer Vehicle Design and n2a Motors – have been my clients at one time or another. I’d like to think that I provided automotive enthusiasts with their first look at some of the cars these companies build.
What this article made me think about, however, is the kinds of clients that I go after. I’m definitely careful with the companies that I choose to work with, mostly because I want to be able to be comfortable putting my support behind them. Most importantly, though, I prefer to photograph cars that I really enjoy and like. I guess this means that I like ‘old cars made new’.
New Singer 911 photos released to the world

Back in April Singer Vehicle Design hired me again to take photos of their second customer car. I don’t think the White and Olive paint scheme is as photogenic as the previous Green and Orange car, but it’s beautiful nonetheless. To make it even better, Singer was going to have both cars on hand so I would have the opportunity to photograph them together.
With Singer issuing their press release regarding the new customer car and their partnership with Cosworth, the photos have now appeared on many of the leading automotive web sites around the world including Autoblog, Autocar, and Top Gear:
- Autoblog.com
- TopGear.com
- Autocar.co.uk
- PistonHeads.com
- ClassicDriver.com
- WorldCarFans.com
- WindingRoad.com
- AutoEvolution.com
- MotorWard.com
Hopefully the images will be in print in the next few months.
Cover feature for Speedster magazine

I don’t really keep tabs on many magazines, especially those in France, so I wouldn’t have known about this cover except that I saw it on a table at Singer’s shop. Regardless of the publication, I’m happy to see the Singer 911 on a cover, in particularly with this photo. It was my favorite image from the entire photoshoot.

First production Singer 911 photos

I fell in love with the Singer 911 prototype at first sight (who wouldn’t?), so I was very excited to work with them on photographing their very first production car. The green/orange paint scheme is incredibly photogenic, and I could have spent hours more photographing all of the wonderful little details of the car. You can see a few photos of the car below, or check out Autoblog.com for the whole set.
