It’s always interesting to see which photos are selected for publication in a magazine. For the most part, I’ve always felt 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords has done an excellent job in choosing the photographs for an article as well organizing them on the page in an attractive manner. When I see an article with my photographs for the first time, almost always I like which photos they chose and how the article is laid out.
For the recent feature on the Raceskinz Mustang, however, I was disappointed by the absence of one particular photo, seen above. It was by far my photograph I took of the car, and one that was a mix of good timing and a bit of luck. I was sad that it didn’t make it in to the magazine, but at least you can see it here! The September 2011 issue of 5.0 Mustang & Super Fords came out today, and I was fortunate enough to have my photo selected for the cover. The car is a 2011 Mustang 5.0 built by a company called Raceskinz. I first saw the car at SEMA last year, and it was by far my favorite Mustang at the show. Originally I had done a photoshoot of the car without any driving shots, but I knew the car was cover-worthy, so I set up another time to photograph the car in action.
