It’s been quite a while since my photography has been featured on the cover of a magazine, but this one was worth the wait. The photograph took quite a bit of work to get right, requiring six vehicles to be placed in a relatively small area and waiting for just the right light, but the result was exactly what I was hoping for. You can pick up this special Shelby issue from The Enthusiast Network on just about any newsstand now.
This summer I was fortunate enough to have an owner commission a photoshoot of his mint 2001 Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 SE. As a bonus, the photos were also published on Petrolicious.com. Head over to the web site to view both the photos and a few of my thoughts on the car.
My favorite part of the Pebble Beach Concours are the details. I could spend the entire day inspecting and admiring the different hood ornaments, leather straps, steering wheel emblems and wire wheel spokes of every car on display on the 18th fairway. You can see some of my favorites thanks to Petrolicious, who published a gallery of my Pebble Beach details here.
My photos of the 2016 Monterey Motorsports Reunion have been published on ClassicDriver.com. You can see the full article and photo gallery here.
The Pikes Peak Hill Climb is undoubtedly one of my favorite events of the year. It’s not without its challenges – waking up early enough to be on a freezing cold mountain at 3:30am four days in a row is quite unpleasant – but it makes for some incredible images. My photos from all four practice days can be seen here (1) (2) (3) (4).
It’s been 25 years since John Hennessey first launched his company adding gobs of horsepower to performance cars, and to celebrate he’s building several anniversary edition models including a Ford Mustang. I was recently out at his shop to photograph the first car, and the images have now been released. You can read about the car and see the photos on the web sites below.
