Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca hosted the Ferrari Racing Days this past weekend that included Ferrari’s F1 and Corse Clienti (racing clients) as well as the 458 Challenge racing series. The F1 cars were undoubtedly the highlight, and it’s always incredible to see and hear them in action. Unfortunately there were only three classic Ferraris in attendance due to scheduling conflicts, but it was still a good weekend at the track anyway. I’ve always wanted to shoot a car on the open tarmac of the El Toro Marine Base in Irvine, and I got my chance when the owner of this Mustang had a connection there. Doing the driving shots on the runway was a blast, and it wasn’t hard to find a spot where the car looked good during sunset. You can see the entire article after the jump.
